Moments That Matter

Would you like to take better photographs of your children, family and friends? Then this is the class for you!  Farrah will guide you through the basics of portraiture in digital photography, with an emphasis on kids, helping you understand your camera and showing you simple, easy to adopt techniques that will improve your images right away.

Portraiture is not always posed or contrived. When can you get kids to sit still anyway? Most of the time, we just want to capture an image of someone we care about that’s good enough to put in a frame. Through this workshop, you will learn from a photographer who does that on a daily basis. Farrah will share tips and tricks for shooting indoors and show you how to get amazing expressions from your subjects.  Learn what times of day are best for shooting outdoors and how to find the best light for images of people.

Farrah’s easy to understand teaching style and straightforward advice will show you how to create images that you will love of the ones you love, and help you become much more comfortable with your camera. This workshop will teach you how to chase after your kids with a camera in hand! Join us in June and learn how to take your best images of family and friends yet!
