Mission

The mission of Brooks Extension Workshops is to provide educational opportunities of exceptional quality to visual, new media, and communication artists at amateur and professional levels. The workshops create a forum for the exchange of knowledge and creativity for beginners, hobbyists, educators, and working professionals.

Through the workshops, participants will:

• Enjoy opportunities to learn and practice multidisciplinary craft and technique.
• Explore their individual potential to grow and develop artistically, technically, and thematically in their chosen art form.
• Have access to the knowledge base and professional experience of top notch instructors.
• Gain an expanded their perspective and network of resources for their art as they interact and exchange creative thoughts and ideas with their fellow participants.
• Continue their educational experience in order to bring new working knowledge back to the classrooms of their respective institutions.

All workshops are taught at Brooks Institute fully equipped facilities in Santa Barbara and Ventura, California unless otherwise stated.
