Direction & Parking Information

Directions (all from Highway 101)

Cota Street Campus, 27 East Cota Street, 93101

Take Highway 101 to the Garden Street exit and turn north onto Garden (away from the beach). Turn left onto Cota Street. The Cota Street Campus is located at the northwest corner of Cota and Anacapa streets.

Mason Street Campus, 25 East Mason Street, 93101

Take Highway 101 to the Garden Street exit and turn south onto Garden (toward the beach). Take your first right onto Yanonali Street. Turn left onto Anacapa Street. Cross the railroad tracks and the Mason Street Campus will be the building directly to the right.

Ventura Campus, 5301 North Ventura Avenue, Ventura, CA 93001

Take Highway 101 to exit 70B and merge onto 33 North toward Ojai. Take the Cañada Larga Road exit and turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Turn left onto North Ventura Avenue and Brooks Institute will be a quarter mile down the road on the right.

Parking

Santa Barbara City Parking Lots:

Santa Barbara City parking lots are an ideal option for workshop attendees. City lots are free for the first 75 minutes and incur a charge of $1.50 for each hour thereafter. Please note: According to a Conditional Use Permit, students, faculty, staff of Brooks Institute and guests are not allowed to move their cars under the 75 minute time window to avoid paying for parking. Please do not move your vehicle to avoid paying for parking.

Cota Street Campus:

The closest city lots to the Cota Street Campus are lot #10, located at the corner of Anacapa and Ortega streets, and #11 located at the corner of Anacapa and Haley streets. In addition to city lots, there is a privately operated lot at 18 East Haley Street, in between State and Anacapa streets. This lot will allow you to park all day for a fee of $5. For more information on this lot, please contact Santa Barbara Valet Services at 805-962-4507. If you are choosing to park on the street please be sure to read any and all signs to avoid ticketing. The majority of off street parking has a time limit of 90 minutes. However, there are some areas of that allow unlimited off street parking. They are several blocks away from the campus, but are not inaccessible options.

Mason Street Campus:

The closest city lots to the Mason Street Campus is the Depot lot by the Amtrak station, on State and Yanonali Street, and  lot #12, located at the corner of State and Gutierrez streets. There are limited parking spaces on the West side of the Mason Street Campus building available on a first come first serve basis. There are also parking spaces available along the South side of the building and along Mason Street with a time limit of 90 minutes. However, there is off street parking available on Anacapa Street on the North side of the railroad tracks with no time restrictions.

Ventura Campus:

There is ample parking available at the Ventura Campus in the Brooks Institute parking lot surrounding the building. If the lot is full or if it is more convenient for you, off street parking is available along North Ventura Avenue with no restrictions.
