This one-day workshop, lead by Brooks instructor Rob Winner, will teach you the basics of digital and traditional photographic technique and can help you improve your photography skills and maximize your cameras capabilities.
Through lecture and hands-on instruction, you can learn how f/stops, shutter speeds, depth of field, ISO standards, control of motion and principles of lighting affect photo quality and will reduce your dependence on your camers automatic feature.
You can also learn about pixel dimension, image size and resolution, file formats, bit depth, and more to assist you in manipulating, printing, storing and sharing your images.
Whether you own or are considering purchasing a digital camera, this class will provide you a comprehensive understanding and help you optimize your equipment.
While this class uses Apple Computers for instructional purposes, all information is also valid for PC users. Platform specifics will not be discussed except as questions arise or programs shown require their discussion.
About the Instructor Winner holds a BA and MS degree in photography and has 20 years of commercial and digital photography experience, 15 of which hes devoted to teaching amateur and professional photographers how to make better pictures. Having twice circumnavigated the globe, Winner will share his images and experience to improve your skills and to better appreciate the art of photography.
