This new, three-day format will explore the mystery of the creative process and give you the guidance and insight needed to shift your photography skills beyond mere craft. Creative exercises and assignments working with models will help you use your imagination rather than imitate. Lectures and demonstrations will guide you on a path to find inspiration, new techniques and concepts to create work that goes beyond the ordinary into the magical realm of fine art.
About the Instructor Joyce Wilson is a photographer extraordinaire. She established herself in the portrait/commercial world more than 40 years ago. During the last 25 years she has been exploring the world of fine art through personal projects and teaching creative workshops. She is renowned for her trademark images depicting mythology and the spirituality of the human form. Wilson’s work is represented through art galleries, featured in solo and group exhibitions, and part of the permanent collection at the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, OK. Recommended Experience Beginning – Advanced. This workshop is digital only. Students are required to supply their own digital camera and removable media, such as flash or zip drives. A laptop is optional, but also recommended.
