Days Broken down into Two Modules
Morning and Afternoon
Classroom and Digital Lab

Day 1

2. Setting up the camera for raw capture
-PowerPoint presentation on the idea of RAW files
-Video feed from camera
3. Major camera settings
4. Camera firmware update
5. Name in camera – user comment
6. AF settings
7. Metering modes
8. Custom white balance and color temp settings
9. Metering for digital
10. Use of Macbeth and exposure
11. Key shifting assignment demo and shoot
12. We will provide one model and set up for three groups to shoot themselves
13. Outside Shoot with DSLR Key Shifting They will shoot a portrait to work on in lab plus digital files to import, copy write, rename etc.

Lunch

1. Setup an overview of Bridge interface with preferences
2. What is displayed in metadata
3. Downloading - Adobe Photo Downloader
4. Bridge ranking, sorting copying

-Web – quick websites and how to upload
-Print

-Curves
-BW conversion methods
-Hue saturation

All students should bring cameras and a few digital files to work on printing, small USB drive to tranfer photos
