This interactive workshop focuses exclusively on lighting for fashion and beauty shoots. Students will explore a variety of lighting styles from simple beauty lighting setups to creative editorial style and high fashion using a ring flash. Students will work with models, the latest Studio Flash equipment and use Gray’s Mamiya 645D. Grey will also critique student’s images taken during the workshop and provide individual consultations on their personal portfolios. About the Instructor Jon Gray has been a professional photographer for 30 years. He has shot for some of the fashion and consumer industry’s most recognizable brands, including Gucci, P&O, Dunlop, Vogue, Parker Pens, B.P., Dixon\'s, and Monsanto. His stock work includes, Getty Images, the Image Bank, The Telegraph and Image State. He has published two books on beauty and glamour photography and has appeared in countless magazine features, such as: The Professional Photographer, The BIPP Academy, The Amateur Photographer, and Foto Ventas Digital (Spain). Gray is also a photography teacher and lecturer having worked for such notable institutions as: The American Intercontinental University in London, Glasgow University, The Fuji Film School, The Royal Photographic Society, and The British Institute of Professional Photographers.
